Lemnos COO Japanese Designer Cuckoo Clock - Mint Blue
The COO (クー) cuckoo clock reinterprets the traditional cuckoo clock through a contemporary industrial design. Designed by Ryosuke Fukusada, the clock features a curved metal case inspired by the arched windows found in classical Western architecture.
Its versatile design allows it to be displayed either as a wall clock or as a freestanding desk clock, making it easy to place within a variety of interiors.
The front panel is made from perforated metal, creating a light and graphic surface. The pattern of small circular openings works together with the larger window where the cuckoo bird appears, giving the clock a playful yet refined rhythm. On the hour, the cuckoo bird emerges to gently mark the passing of time.
Hour markers are subtly indicated through colour accents placed within selected perforations, forming a natural connection between the dial and the body.
The case is crafted in Japan using metalworking techniques developed in Niigata, including precision punching, bending, welding, and coating.
- Size: W142 x H232 x D102 mm
- Materials: Steel, MDF
- Two-level volume control
- Light sensor (automatically stops the cuckoo sound in the dark)
Combining industrial materials with a sense of warmth and character, COO brings a contemporary interpretation of the cuckoo clock to modern living and makes a thoughtful gift for lovers of Japanese design.
